About the role
We are seeking potential Trainer and Assessor to deliver RII60520 – Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design
As a trainer/assessor you will be responsible to deliver & assess learners according to the session plan, submit complete student work on a term to term basis and participate in validation activities. Industry applicants will be trained in necessary procedures to meet various regulatory requirements required by ASQA, ESOS Act 2000, National Code 2018 and AQF.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a session plan for all the units of competency training.
- Develop class activities and online quizzes for Moodle.
- Efficient and effective delivery and Assessment of the curriculum as per the session plan.
- Participate in assessment validation activities.
- Monitoring student academic progress closely and making recommendations to the Director of Studies.
- Reporting, submitting and verifying assessments on time.
- Responsible for effective communication between staff and students.
Selection Criteria
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor OR interested in undertaking the above course (once selected) OR
- A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
- Qualifications at least to the level being delivered and assessed
- At least 2 years relevant industry working experience
- Preferred training and assessment experience in the VET sector
- Excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills

Salary: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
